About the Music

This is a tune that Charles Kelly wrote and programmed for a game on the Amiga computer many years ago.

The challenge was to create something with a very small file size. In those days, the computer game including all the music needed to fit on one floppy disk. This tune is one of about 15 tunes that I wrote and programmed for the game.

The Amiga computer was very "musically" advanced for its time. It could do 2-tracks on the left speaker and 2-tracks on the right speaker. It could use digitized sound samples in addition to computer-generated tones. Amiga computers were somewhat popular in the 1980s. Commodore, the company that made Amiga computers, went bankrupt in 1994.
